What exactly is beauty? A shorter definition of the first above: Something that is attractive to the eye. And if so, what makes the eye so attracted to it in the first place? What makes a woman or a man beautiful or ugly? You all have different tastes, but why do you call people beautiful and ugly? There's always one person in this world who thinks that you're beautiful, so what is it exactly that makes your eyes attracted to certain things? For example, take one celebrity and compare that celebrity to two people. One could say they are gorgeous while the other could say average. But what exactly is it that makes our eye just... glue to certain sights or people?
What is it that makes a person beautiful? Compare these four people for us in your mind:
Females:
Female Subject 1
Female Subject 2
Males:
Male Subject 1
Male Subject 2
Now, don't post comments telling us which one is more beautiful or why you hate one or the other or both, just keep the thought in your mind. Judge them only on their physical appearance. Now, bring these thoughts to yourself: what makes whichever one you prefer, more beautiful than the other? The eyes? The hair? The face shape? The race? The nose, lips, etc.? Now... Why are those particular things beautiful? Can you tell us why exactly they bring pleasure to the eyes, or even more specifically, your eyes? Why is it that the shape of their face or their overall look make you attracted to them? Ponder these thoughts for us.
We often wonder why exactly it is that humans are attracted to certain people... For example, if you are walking through a mall and see a pretty guy/girl, what is it that makes you attracted to them. Imagine them with simple clothes on, or just imagine their face. Now, point out the thing that you like most about their face. Then, ask your friend their favorite feature of that person's face. We're sure that if you had thousands of people do this same thing for one person, there would be a wide range of different answers.
Then what is it about that feature that you like exactly? No color answers, yet. Imagine everything in black and white, then tell us why the shapes of all of those features make that person 'beautiful'. We mean that if you can say a person is gorgeous, why is another person ugly? It seems the only answers We can find from others are certain answers along the lines of: 'their eyes', 'their lips', 'their nose', 'their hair'. But why? Why their lips, eyes, nose, etc.? Why are these things attractive to you the way they are?
Of course, all of these observations are on a first glance or a first look, before you know the person's personality. There's another question for you, why is it that personality changes our view of the person's physical appearance? What makes us truly fall in love with a person? Good conversations, compatibility, etc? Once again, why is it that certain personalities work with each other and why is it that others clash? That is actually a question that can be answered not only through trial and error, but simply exposing them to different situations.
People who are quiet and shy don't like being put into awkward situations with people who are out there and not easily embarrassed. People who are very social, but don't like clingy people might not be able to get along very well with someone who easily attaches themselves. People who don't like to change might not be very comfortable around people who change all the time. It all depends on the different scenarios.
So our final question is, what is it that makes a person beautiful in physical appearance? We believe that it has to do with something within your bodies. Something in your DNA perhaps? Or a systematic pattern programmed into your brain through your childhood.
The answer to what exactly makes someone attractive in your eyes, goes unanswered for now. But that is our question to you. Think about it.
