They can be so close-minded to not even understand the young mindset of a child, or even of an adult. No, this does not apply to everyone, but it does apply to many. They believe that a child cannot grasp reality, but the truth is that an adult who has become so accustomed to being told 'it's impossible' that they are the ones who cannot truly grasp reality.

This reality which we are referring to is the reality of dreams.

Dreams are real. Whether or not physically real, they are real in one way or another. When you fall asleep, your entire body shuts down, but your mind does not. Not completely. Your subconscious is very awake, which is why many dreams are so chaotic. In fact, your subconscious takes things much more seriously than your conscious mind. Through time, as a human grows up, their subconscious becomes more locked away than it was as a child. To a child, a dream or a nightmare are just as real as reality, because your subconscious rules while you are asleep, everything that happens within your dreams is just as real as reality. Telling a child, "It's just a nightmare" may work for some, but many, it never does because that nightmare was reality.

Within your dreams, unless you are among the small population that can control them, your subconscious rules. As such, nothing in the world exists but that dream while you are asleep. If your reality is 'reality' when you are awake, and a 'dream' is a dream while you are awake, why is it that dreams have such an effect on your conscious and subconscious mind? To us, reality is reality, but dreams are not just dreams. A dream is more than a dream, because a dream exists within the 'dream reality', we shall call it.

This is why sometimes the most ridiculous nightmares will still scare you, because within the dream reality, it is all seemingly real to your subconscious. Essentially, your subconscious cannot tell the difference between reality and when you are dreaming. All it knows is that it has the ability to run free within that time. A nightmare to a child is just as real as you pouring a bowl of cereal in front of it. Sometimes, dreams can affect you in good or bad ways, but they still affect you, and you cannot deny that. Because if your conscious mind believes that it did not affect you, your subconscious mind still holds that entire dream reality within memory.

We believe that dreams are more than just dreams, more than even a dream reality. We believe that you can meet entire strangers in dreams, that you can tell the future in dreams, that you can even find the answer to a problem there. In fact, the last one, is scientifically proven. As such, how is it any different from reality? Connecting to someone in a dream and sharing a conversation with them could very well influence how you treat strangers in the future while you are awake. Perhaps, you will even meet that stranger in the future, even if you don't remember them, your subconscious will.

This is one of the reasons you have what you call 'déjà vu'. Often, we have seen people have dreams of things that they do the next day, but they don't remember the dream when they wake up until they have that familiar moment of 'I have done this before' or 'I did this in my dream last night'. So, if it happened within the dream then happened within reality, what would you conclude it as? Would you say that within your dream reality, you had a vision of the future? Or that you happened to do the same thing within two realities? Or perhaps something else?

Nonetheless, the reality of dreams exists, and if you will stop being so close-minded to it, perhaps you would be able to discover more about other people, and even perhaps, yourself.

Your Spirit vs. Reality

One of the strangest things that We have noticed about humans has come into light for us. Sometimes a human is born into a certain situation, or grow up in such a way, that changes them from what they really are. What We mean by this, is when your inner spirit is different than your physical form. This is actually quite common, though some people go to the extreme of changing themselves because of it. However, this raises the question: why is it that sometimes our spirits are so different from our physical form?

This can refer to smaller things, eye color, hair color, small appearance difficulties, but this can also refer to large things such as gender, age, and even species. It is truly a strange feeling, when you can look at yourself in the mirror and feel itchy. When you can look down at yourself and feel uncomfortable in your own skin.

Some people don't understand why they feel this way, so they do everything to try and figure out who they truly are. Sometimes, you can never change yourself enough to feel that comfort. Sometimes, you have to force your spirit to adapt so you can be happy without changing, whether that is because you can't change enough, or don't have the resources to do so. It's not pleasant when you feel this way, and you can never truly understand how unpleasant it truly is until you have felt it. When these feelings begin to manifest, you begin to doubt yourself and your ability. With most, their confidence diminishes greatly and they begin to feel that everyone stares at them no matter what they do.

We would have to say that a mildly common example of this, is one of the most interesting: when your spirit is different than your species. Usually, this occurs in humans, but it also happens in animals as well. Usually, when this occurs, the human's spirit, inner self, or conscience resembles that of an animal rather than that of a human. This resemblance, as We will call it, can be very noticeable and distinct or very mild and obscure, but it remains.

The most common of this occurence that We have seen is when a specific human attaches itself to a certain animal and begins to take on the characteristics of it, usually in personality and thought. In many cultures, they call this a spirit animal. It can go to the extreme that they truly believe they are said animal. They begin to believe that they were this animal in a past life, or were simply born into the wrong body and circumstances.

This can be a very tiring, unmanageable feeling. This person always seems to feel out of place, no matter who he/she seems to be around. Depending on which animal they have attached themselves to, they can always feel the need to run, hide, or lounge around till the end of time. It does happen, and this does not mean that they are insane either. In fact, it's much more logical than this world makes it out to be.

When a person feels alone, from the time they are born, they will often attach themself to an animal, character, movie, object, etc. and this becomes their comfort zone, a place that they feel safe. These feelings toward this idea or object can last throughout their entire lifetime and sometimes take on new meanings as well. It is something that almost everyone has done, sane and insane. It is human nature to do so, to search for a safe haven in which you can escape. You depend on it because you believe that it will never fail you, and it often never does.
However, sometimes the feelings can become so powerful, that it begins to hurt, especially when you begin to wonder if what you believed in was ever real or if it ever had any true accountabilty in your life. Some people run away from these thoughts and some people accept them, but whether or not they are true, the feeling of forever being an outcast never truly disappears unless the original problem is cured.

This is a concept that you must come to terms with and you must find your own way to adapt to it, because no matter what you do, it will always make you feel small. By this, We mean that you will always feel that you are never good enough, and even if you don't believe it, that's not true. These feelings will only hold you back. When you are able to adapt, however, you will move on to another problem. As such, this is the journey that you will take throughout your life, that journey is learning to accept yourself and who you are.

Whether your thoughts are true or false, if you are able to accept who you are, even if you believe that you are stuck in the wrong skin, you will grow into that skin. You will adapt in such a way, that you will be able to work with these feelings, and as such, you will become golden. It will always be painful, but that is what life is about. There will always be pain. Learning to adapt in such a way that allows the thoughts to not be 'painful reminders' anymore, but reminders of what you used to be, and what you have become.

If you change for the good, you will never regret it.

- White

The Anatomy of Beauty

beau-ty
   [byoo-tee]
–noun, plural -ties.

1. the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest).
2. a beautiful person, esp. a woman.
3. a beautiful thing, as a work of art or a building.
4. Often, beauties. something that is beautiful in nature or in some natural or artificial environment.
5. an individually pleasing or beautiful quality; grace; charm: a vivid blue area that is the one real beauty of the painting.
6. Informal. a particular advantage: One of the beauties of this medicine is the freedom from aftereffects.
7. (usually used ironically) something extraordinary: My sunburn was a real beauty.
8. something excellent of its kind: My old car was a beauty.

Origin:
1225–75; ME be(a)ute < OF beaute; r. ME bealte < OF beltet < VL *bellitāt- (s. of *bellitās), equiv. to L bell(us) fine + -itāt- -ity

Synonyms:
1. loveliness, pulchritude, comeliness, fairness, attractiveness. 2. belle.
Antonyms:
1. ugliness.

The above section was taken from dictionary.com .

What exactly is beauty? A shorter definition of the first above: Something that is attractive to the eye. And if so, what makes the eye so attracted to it in the first place? What makes a woman or a man beautiful or ugly? You all have different tastes, but why do you call people beautiful and ugly? There's always one person in this world who thinks that you're beautiful, so what is it exactly that makes your eyes attracted to certain things? For example, take one celebrity and compare that celebrity to two people. One could say they are gorgeous while the other could say average. But what exactly is it that makes our eye just... glue to certain sights or people?

What is it that makes a person beautiful? Compare these four people for us in your mind:

Females:

Female Subject 1

Female Subject 2

Males:

Male Subject 1

Male Subject 2

Now, don't post comments telling us which one is more beautiful or why you hate one or the other or both, just keep the thought in your mind. Judge them only on their physical appearance. Now, bring these thoughts to yourself: what makes whichever one you prefer, more beautiful than the other? The eyes? The hair? The face shape? The race? The nose, lips, etc.? Now... Why are those particular things beautiful? Can you tell us why exactly they bring pleasure to the eyes, or even more specifically, your eyes? Why is it that the shape of their face or their overall look make you attracted to them? Ponder these thoughts for us.

We often wonder why exactly it is that humans are attracted to certain people... For example, if you are walking through a mall and see a pretty guy/girl, what is it that makes you attracted to them. Imagine them with simple clothes on, or just imagine their face. Now, point out the thing that you like most about their face. Then, ask your friend their favorite feature of that person's face. We're sure that if you had thousands of people do this same thing for one person, there would be a wide range of different answers.

Then what is it about that feature that you like exactly? No color answers, yet. Imagine everything in black and white, then tell us why the shapes of all of those features make that person 'beautiful'. We mean that if you can say a person is gorgeous, why is another person ugly? It seems the only answers We can find from others are certain answers along the lines of: 'their eyes', 'their lips', 'their nose', 'their hair'. But why? Why their lips, eyes, nose, etc.? Why are these things attractive to you the way they are?

Of course, all of these observations are on a first glance or a first look, before you know the person's personality. There's another question for you, why is it that personality changes our view of the person's physical appearance? What makes us truly fall in love with a person? Good conversations, compatibility, etc? Once again, why is it that certain personalities work with each other and why is it that others clash? That is actually a question that can be answered not only through trial and error, but simply exposing them to different situations.

People who are quiet and shy don't like being put into awkward situations with people who are out there and not easily embarrassed. People who are very social, but don't like clingy people might not be able to get along very well with someone who easily attaches themselves. People who don't like to change might not be very comfortable around people who change all the time. It all depends on the different scenarios.

So our final question is, what is it that makes a person beautiful in physical appearance? We believe that it has to do with something within your bodies. Something in your DNA perhaps? Or a systematic pattern programmed into your brain through your childhood.

The answer to what exactly makes someone attractive in your eyes, goes unanswered for now. But that is our question to you. Think about it.

- White

We

We are an enigma.
